Back in August a friend of mine and i were kicked out of this church. I mean literally they told us we couldnt even come back on the property. The reason was the Pastor chooses his childrens husbands and wives and my friend wanted to marry his daughter and his daughter wanted to marry my friend. She is 20 years old and my friend is 24. The pastor and first lady called us in to a meeting, and my friend ended up being kicked out first because he stood up to the pastor and told him that he was wrong for how he manipulates people. the pastor got upset because what was being said was true and if it got out to the church it could ruin his ministry... but he was wrong and got caught up in it. Then he told me that if i continued to talk to him (my friend) i would be gone right behind him. I told him i was still gonna talk to him and i got kicked out too.

Everywhere ive seen it at in the Bible it was talking about the church excommunicating people. Never the pastor and wife alone.

Did he have any biblical right to do that?

You're asking the wrong question.

Anyone answering this blog does not know enough about the situation to give you an answer to the specific question you pose. You can find your own answer. Here is a clue:

Are YOU being spirit led?

I don't care what the situation is, without the blessing of the father and mother in a marriage it's starting in the hole. The movies make the "romeo and juliet" scenario glamorous, but it is not consistent with scripture. Blowing up at the pastor is not the right answer. He is God's anointed (see the story of Saul and David). If he is wrong, God will judge him harshly. If he is out of God's will pray that God removes you from the path of the collateral damage if he does not repent. If the pastor was inappropriate, don't let another human remove you or your friend from God's will.

You have a bigger problem. You are now outside of your spiritual covering. It doesn't matter if the pastor is wrong or right in this situation. You are now spiritually out there. You need to get some spiritual covering. Satan is walking to and fro looking for whom he can devour.

After I sent the message, I read the information of the other responders to your question. All I can say is don't follow your feelings. They can lead you astray. Think. Review scripture. Ask people you know will tell you the truth without sugar coating it. Medicine sometimes is tough to swallow.
