For the last 22 months I've been in a desert. At first I was utterly saddened that I was alone. I cried and prayed daily and asked why am I being punished? It wasn't until I began to cling to the Word that I began to accept my current lot. Over the last 6 months I have grown closer to the Lord and I have become content in my personal Arabia. The anticipation of today's arrival had me full of anxiety. As I awoke this morning to prepare my 5 year old son for a dental appointment that I knew could possibly be hard for him, I silently prayed. I didn't want him to detect any fear from me so I was all smiles and goofy with him as usual, singing in the car.
